About us

Our story

Twenty-five years of love, grit and community, and a home where every child is seen as an individual, never a statistic.

Juno Aurora Haven is a registered children’s home in Kelvin, Sandton. We began in 2001 as a small charity day-care centre, and over the years we have grown into a family for children who had nowhere else to turn. Today we care for 19 children, and we receive no government funding: everything we do is made possible by kind people like you.

Nine children, one decision

Nine abandoned children are left in our care just as the landlord sells the building. We choose to keep them together, and the day-care becomes a children’s home.
